Jordan Scalph is the Historic Ships Network's key partner for the Americas — the connective link between the Network's European core and the vast community of maritime history enthusiasts across North America. Based in Virginia, Jordan brings both passion and expertise to the study of the great liners that defined transatlantic travel.

His research interests span the American and British dimensions of ocean liner history, with particular focus on the vessels of the postwar Atlantic crossing era and the US Lines fleet. As the Network's North American representative, Jordan has been instrumental in establishing and nurturing the institutional partnerships that have helped HSN extend its reach across the Atlantic.

Jordan joined the Network in 2013, drawn by the shared mission of preserving maritime heritage through digital means — a mission he has championed consistently through his contributions to the HSN community and its growing archive.
